Oxygen sensor sockets are nice because they grip the sensor on five out of the six sides, which reduces the chances of rounding it off. You can also use a breaker bar on one, which you sometimes need because they get rusted in place. Some penetrating oil, like PB Blaster, will help. You shouldn't have to pay more than $10 for one. If you look on the driver's side of the engine, just behind the valve cover, you'll see a plate that has three plugs snapped into it. They all have those red latches on them. The one closest to the front of the car is the front O2 sensor plug. The middle is the rear O2 sensor, and the last one is for the temperature sender.
