Weird OnStar behavior

I have had some strange, intermittent OnStar behavior in my 2002 9-3 SE, and it usually happens as follows: I am driving down a flat, even stretch of road. All of a sudden, my radio mutes, "telephone" comes on the SID, and a voice says, "Impact Detected. Calling OnStar Center." Of course, this is how OnStar is supposed to work in the event of an accident, with one problem: I've not actually sustained an impact. This has happened 6 or so times. The dealer is stumped. They have replaced the OnStar hardware, as well as the airbag controller unit (all under CPO warranty, thank god).
Any ideas? And no, cancelling OnStar, though appealing, isn't an option for me for various reasons. I have the accidents onl plan anyway, so this whole think is pretty annoying.
thanks in advance,
SM
