My 95 900 convertible clutch pedal is engaging close to the floor. Just noticed it yesterday after a long day of city driving. Hard shifting between gears and grinding when I try to put in reverse. Tried suggestions on site for grabbing clutch cable and helping self adjuster. No luck. Found that I could remove the cable from the clutch arm. There is no spring on the arm at all. The plastic sheath on the cable is cracked. Am I looking at new cable or new clutch? Cluth and cable replaced about 20K ago. Any help is appreciated.
