Are you sure the refrigerant charge is ok? What you describe is a classic symptom of very low refrigerent, where only one corner of the evaporator gets slightly cool, and that air mostly goes to the l.h. vent. When the refrigerant is just slightly low in my 1995 900S, I notice that the air on the r.h. vent starts to get noticably warmer. Try running the a/c on max cool (recirc) with the hood open at idle. The compressor will normally run virtually non-stop, and the electric cooling fan behind the radiator will cycle on and off every minute or so to maintain proper cooling. Also, if you pop off the grille at the front of the car,(just squeeze the two metal clips as you lift), you should see a sight glass (approx. 3/8" dia.) on top of the receiver/dryer on the l.h. side of the car. If you see lots of bubbles in the sight glass, that usually indicates a low refrigerant charge.
