$42 from eEuroparts. They had to order it, and I still had it in about three or four days. The whole replacement operation will take less than five minutes for any non-mechanic, non-piston head Saab owner.
1. Remove SID - thin spatula or other tool to lever it out.
2. The cup holder itself is also the frame that holds the SID in place.
3. Examine the new part for location of the five spring snaps, really just pieces of the frame which are bent outwards and which click into place in the dash to hold the cup holder frame in place.
4. A thin screw driver can be used to bend each of the five snaps inward.
5. The cup holder frame will then easily slide out.
6. Just slide the new cup holder frame into the hole. It will click into place.
In your case (and mine in retrospect), It might be interesting to see if the radio will extract with the SID/cup holder frame out of the dash. Looking at the frame, you can see that removal of the SID itself will not really change anything regarding whether the radio would hang up on its frame or not.
