I am also questioning the installation of koni springs/shocks. I installed B&G lowering springs and 17" EVO's but kept the factory shocks. I don't get bounce, I get almost no shock absortion. The slightest road defect and WHAM! CD skips, coffee spills, and I cringe. Something just doesn't seem right and I question whether upgrading to Koni's will improve this situation. I need better absorbtion of the road defects. I know the shorter tire profile doesn't help with that, but should it be so bad? When I install the winter tires is gets better but still have that Wham - just takes larger defects in the road.
I drove a 9-5 wagon loaner during a warranty repair and it had the same 17" setup with sport suspension and the ride was so smooth. This is what I expected to get with the suspension improvements.
