First, go for suspension improvements. 22mm rear anti-sway bar, steering rack brace and for a convertible, I would seriously consider a 6 point sub-frame brace (all available from site sponsor genuinesaab.com). I have done the above to my 2003 SE auto convertible, plus adding the 17 inch wheels and trust me, it transforms the handling. Less understeer, less torque steer, it actually likes to track straight so less sawing at the steering wheel and less cowl shake. Genuinesaab also offers some stiffer bushings for the front lower control arms that I may go for next. Don't know if I will ever do a ECU upgrade on this one, if I want hot I have a 2000 9-5 Aero manual sedan with a Stage 2 upgrade.
