I had an '84 c900t that did about the same thing. The problem was not the fuel pump but a feeder pump. I'm not familiar with the ng 900 fuel pumps yet so they may be different. In the C900 there was a small feeder pump that filled a bucket type resivior that the fuel pump fed from, so when you go up a hill or around a corner you don't suck air. Problem was once the level went down below a "seep in point?" I would start to have problems. The feeder was weak and didn't perform well so the issue started out as being intermittent untillll I got stuck one day. A fellow Saaber stoped to help and pointed me in the right direction (smaller pump - not trhe fuel pump). Cheers. Hope it helps or is just a kernel to pass along.
