900SE V6 w/broken engine mount brackets - worth buying?

Hi all,
I have an opportunity to buy a 1996 900 V6 AT with 115k for about $1000. Such a deal! However, it was recently in a low speed front-end accident that shattered the two front motor mount brackets (heavy engine I imagine). This caused the motor to drop a few inches, pulling apart the inner CV (driver side) joint and ruining it after it was driven a few feet after the accident. The bumper is pushed in about 1/2 inch, making the headlights and turn signals out of alignment, but no other visible damage. Otherwise, the car is in excellent shape (or so says the owner) and all maintenance has been done by dealer including recent timing belt and tensioner.
Question: are these easy fixes? It seems that parts can be obtained for $500-700 to fix it up to be a decent $4000 car (in my neck of the woods at least). Or could there be more damage than meets the eye?
