Optima Battery Install

I recently installed an Optima 34R in my car and was wondering if anyone had advice about how to secure it well?
The lip on the back side of the battery (towards the passenger compartment) doesn't seem like if fits in the bracket really well. After installing it just how the Saab battery came out, I just tried flipping the front bracket so it's upside down and sitting on top of the lip on the front of the battery.
What have the rest of you done?
thanks.
