I just purchased a 2002 9-3 SE. Up until this point I've been a 9000 driver. But my 91 9000 which was a great car has a couple cracks in the head and possibly one in the block so she is finally going to the grave yard.

I have some mods in my 9000 that I can apply to my 9-3 but I wanted to get some feedback first.

From my 9000 I can take my open cone K&N and my forge BPV, I plan on eventually doing the FPR and and ECU but don't have any extra money right now.

I had some troubles with my air fuel ratio in my 9000 when I put the K&N in and I wanted to know if I should wait for the FPR and ECU before I put it in my new 9-3.

Has anyone experienced a lean mixture when using a high flow air filter in their 9-3?
