Ha! Subject ought to be "Beware When the WIS is Terse" The WIS gives you the impression that swapping out the motor is a breeze. It also indicates for each year that you snip cable ties to free up the wiring harness. I got the car up and remove the cable nuts to the starter. There was not enough slack in the battery cable to get the connector over the stud. Looked and looked for cable ties - nadda! I sent a good hour trying to figure out how to move the cable. Finally remove the intake manifold so I could see. Found out that I could remove the cable channel (L shaped metal channel right under crankcase ventilator). One 10mm bolt on transmission side connected to intake manifold and (Michael I think I found your missing connection) two bolts 10mm 1 1/4" (firewall side) - side by side, accessed from above and I think connected to the head. Michael, I believe you only got one of these. Way over-engineered for a wire channel. Pulled the channel towards the rear then towards the middle of the car provided some slack in the cable allowing me to get it past the stud.
Maybe I'm getting old, but I have a bad case vertigo and spent some time pondering how I'm going to access the top bolt on the starter motor. Exhaust and alt. seem to be in the way. More to come.
