1999 93S 5spd
Had the infamous tripod bearing/inner driver wear so I bought a new driver and bearings. Got everything off but the inner driver shaft won't slide out of the transaxle. Is there an internal snap ring? There's a small aluminum plate around the shaft with three torx bolts. I pray that it doesn't need to come off.
I even unbolted the alternator and bearing bracket and the thing still won't disengage from the transaxle.
Any tips/tricks? Car is out of order going on day three.
