Hey does anyone here knows how to reset the AC after you install a new one?? I tried the combination of AUTO and OFF at the same time and it does stop and reset itself but it still not really cold air that is coming out of the vents! Any ideas??
I replaced the AC Compressor + Expansion Valve + Accumulator and the whole system (including condensor) was purged with Nitorgen for cleaning before the system was charged with 3/4 full load of 134 for few days so that the compressor is not working on full load and then after few days..it was charged fully with 134
The air coming out is not cold enough and by opening the glove box and reaching for the ducts, the electrical motor top plastic head was loose and it was not closing the outside vent door to the outside. Fixed that and it was okay for few minutes. Next day, it is the same thing, blowing air but not cold air. I tried reseting the whole system by removing the battery lead wire while servicing the battery for about 10 minutes so that the whole car get a reset but it is the same thing.
Any ideas from people who had that experience or similar one??
Thanks in advance,
Khalid
