The 1st item I would check is the fuel pump. If you can get under your car, put your ear close to the tank, and have someone turn the ignition on, you should be able to hear it. If you don't you have a problem. Check the relay and fuse first as the relay is prone to go.

If not that, remove the backseat and look for the fuel pump wires and connect them directly to a 12v source. See if you hear the pump. If you do NOT, replace the fuel pump assembly. This comes as an assembly and is expensive. About $500 for the part...

You should be able to put it in yourself if you have some mechanical skills. The hardest part is removing the tank and gaining some energy to do it... It is about a 5-6 hour DYI job...
