I have the AVN 5435 in my NG900, it's a tight fit, but it is awesome!
It fits fine in the dash perfectlt, it's the amount of wires that makes it tight. But it all fits! It does need a skinny standard double din trim.

I used a stereo headphone jack to RCA into the aux for input, I have a Sony mp3 and the wife has an iPod, this way we could use either.
Eclipse makes an iPod plug too.

I highly recomend this for anyone even thinking about it, it not cheap but the Navigation and the Sirus is just priceless, my wife always wants to take my car around instead of her CLK.

I can take some pictures of the install if people are interested.
