Is there a good way to test if the electrical system/ecu is activating the ignition or the fuel injection?
I'm finding lots of talk about no start problems and they all say basically the same thing "plenty of info if you do a search..." Well I'm searching and can't find much of anything specific.
I have a 95 SE Turbo with 134k miles. It was running great last week when I parked it and went on a business trip. I returned 6 days later and the thing cranks great but does not even attempt to start. Turns over like it is out of gas or the ignition is cut off. (There is almost half a tank of gas in it.)
I have hot wired the fuel pump with no success.
I have unplugged the battery for a few hours to see if the security system would reset with no success.
I don't think it is the DIC because I had no warning signs. It was running great when I parked it. Perhaps this is naive.
Thanks in advance!
