Hello:

First off, let me say I am new to Saabs--just purchased a 1995 convertible with V6. As I have searched thru the boards i found I made a critical error in washing the engine while cleaning it.

That being said, since the water in the engine compartment, the general warning light (!), the abs, and the TCS OFF light all illuminate on the dash. Additionally the speedometer does not work, but does register some life--however erratic-- when the brake pedal is pressed.

I am hoping someone here who has had a similar problem can direct me what would be a good troubleshooting method. I do have experience working on cars though not a certified mechanic, but no knowledge of Saabs.

What should I look for to determine what element in the system was affected by the washing? If this is the sensor or ABS unit, can one be purchased aftermarket?

Thanks in advance, and sorry to rehash problems that may have been addressed previously, but any help or insight would be appreciated.
