Check the bushings. My car is doing the same thing but the CV's which were my first suspect were good after I checked them. From what I have read the bushings on the arms are delicate and can where creating this grinding, poping noise both yourself and I are hearing. I am just going to have the arms and wheel bearings replaced to prevent anything major... like a wheel falling off on the highway!!!!! that would suck uh?
