Trouble Starting

Hi Everyone!
My car doesn't start so well. 01 SE 78k 5spd. DIC replaced under recall in May, new throttle body in September. When the car has been driven (even half a block, or just started up) it'll start up FINE. If it's been sitting in the sun or it's hot it, fine. But if it sits for a few hours and it's chilly, it'll crank when I turn the key, but the engine will just stutter. After half a dozen cranks and some sputters, if i turn it off, and try again, it'll start up fine. So what the heck? I took it to autozone and got battery tests. They said the charging system was fine and the battery ampage was fine resting, running, and accelerating. It should be, it's a 60 month batter with 11 months on it. Anyway, there's something about the combination of sitting and cold temp that makes it start poor. I don't mean like, 20 below trouble crank, I mean it won't start. just sputter. But then it starts up fine! Is is the coolant/fuel mix cold weather sensor fuel ignition system? My mech says it's not a fuel filter or a short or a leak. I've also run half a tank of high-concentration Techron to try and clear things out, but to no avail. Any ideas??
Thank you!
-Ethan
