Play between the inner driver and the tranny on the driver's side is due to a worn diferential bushing in the transmission. This will also cause the axle seal to leak. Only effective 100% fix is tearing down the tranny to get to the diferential and pressing in new bushings. The amount of force required to get these bushings out in a press has led me to believe that any on-vehicle repair would be difficult. Vibration under acceleration is often due to inner driver wear (like you're used to on your old 900) on the passenger side of your new ride. Replacement inner driver comes as a whole intermediate shaft. Might also replace the tripod bearing (same part # as your old 900) while you're at it.
