normally aspirated, now I'm wondering how different are the DIY jobs on this car with respect to my '95 9000 CSE (FPT). I got the car from a friend almost for free and now I'm about to give it (to this beautiful car)a second chance. Beige interiors are in pristine conditions, so is the blue top. Odometer shows only 105000mi, but engine idle is not so quiet than in my 9000 (with 240000 mi on the odo). Shifter is shaking under acceleration (maybe mounts are shot), font end shakes at 50 mph (tripod?) as well and starting is difficult after a sitting (brand new fuel pump: maybe leaking injector or bad FRP or bad fuel check valve).
Just ordered the Haynes manual from Amazon, I'm planning the jobs to carry out.
I do any jobs on my 9000 (clutch, timing and balance chains, suspensions, brakes, steering rack replacement, valve seals...): how difficult this could a similar surgery on this car?
Thanx in advance to anyone in this beatiful BB.
Tiziano
