Mark, have you tried the O2 sensor yet? Posted by SWEDECAR [Email] (#112) [Profile/Gallery] (more from SWEDECAR) on Mon, 13 Nov 2006 16:59:14 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have my doubts about it since I ordered one and the resistance over heating element is 8.3 Ohm and not near the 15738 (2.4 Ohm)which is what Bosch says is the splice in universal one for this car.
This sensor is actually closer to the 15733 (9.6 Ohm) which is what Bosch says is the universal replacement for 2000 and up Saabs.
Also, doing a Google search on the full Bosch number (0258006562)on that sensor only lead to some Russian sites and when looking through Bosch US catalog, that number doesn't even come up.
So it all comes down to how sensitive the fuel management system is, I guess.
If you would get a check engine light after installing the sensor and the fault indicates that something is wrong with the pre heating system, it is a fairly safe guess that the sensor is not compatible with your car.
