Boost at idle is a complete impossibility, so forget that. If running a higher manifold pressures (less vacuum) that is interesting. The changes to the TB and IAC flow from cleaning would not change the manifold pressure for a given idle speed. A hot engine has a lower manifold pressure than a cold one.
New plugs properly gapped?
Injectors cleaned?
With your T5 system, an intake or vacuum leak will not change mixtures, so idle should not be effected or ignition performance. You can run the engine with the TBTC removed. You can remove the IAC top hose and watch the gate valve move as you restrict the flow of the TB with your hand.
Small VAC line is 7/32"? The original VAC line to the MAP appears to be silicone, very durable. That is critical as the MAP controls mixture... as does the hose to the FPR. Double check that those are tight and not blowing off. Some have found that aftermarket silicone hoses blow off.
