Viggen springs/shocks suspension question

I have a 2002 Viggen with 25,000 miles. 18"x7.5" ASA JS5 wheels with Dunlop sport.
I am installing a steering clamp/brace, 6 point brace, and rear sway bar from Nick. I Hope to see an improvement in handling/conering!
I was also considering adding lowering springs (B&G or KONI). Would I need to change the stock shocks, or are they sufficient. Would I see that much difference in handling in respect to ride comfort with just a spring change (Stock spring too soft)?
