It's pretty straight forward, all accessable from below.
Jack up the passenger front wheel, support the car on a jack stand!
The oil drain plug will be 13mm or 1/2" if in real good shape.
Or was it 15mm? Sorry about that.
Not a bad idea to have a spare drain plug, and some copper washers handy.
Order from eeuroparts along with filters if you wish.
Use ONLY a 6pt socket for the drain plug, never a 12pt. When replacing the proper torque is 19ft-lbs. Suitable torque wrench is appropriate IMO.
Spread a thin film of fresh oil on the new filter gasket, I tighten about as much as I can BY HAND. Use an oil filter wrench for removal only.
I move my oil catcher under the filter before removing, you'll drip a small amount.
Sump capacity is 4qts.
Many here use Mobil 1 synthetic 0W40. I mix 1 qt 15W50 for summer and I might continue year round just ... because.
Enjoy! Never let a quickie lube place touch your Saab!
