It would be easier to just replace the ignition switch and be over and done with it.
You see, it is not as easy as to just hook two wires together to turn the car "on".
It is several wires that are each doing part of the work to start and run the car.
You have +50 which turns on the starter, +15 that turn on many fuel injection things, +54 to run lots of auxiliary things and +B and +X (I think that's all).
So all those wires needs to be included (except the +50) in some kind of configuration.
I vote for just replacing the switch.
