It's pretty simple. The SID can be gently pulled out with your fingers, just pop open the cup holder and try to get a good grip on the bottom lip, it will come out.
For the radio you will need a special tool that most car parts stores have. If you look at the radio you'll see two holes on the right and left sides. The special tool goes in there releases locks. Once you have the tool in there good, you pull on them and the radio slides out. The tool is a $3-5 part. The label on mine says "OEM Radio Removal Tools" from AutoWorks. You should get 2 U-shaped tools in the package.
