97 900 turbo
Your T5 ECU will do a fuel cut at a bit over 16 PSI.
How did you set it?
Colder weather may lead to more fuel cuts. Boost pressure overshoots force you to set the boost low enough to avoid the fuel cut. After that transient is over, your boost is lower that it could be without the boost pressure overshoot. That is why the MBC+A was developed. You will also be controlling boost at the turbo, not the intake manifold. You will see boost gauge droop because of that. MBC+A allows you to control boost at the TB. If you connect your MBC to the TB, your boost pressure overshoots are much worse.
