The schrader valves are the access valves (like big bicycle tire valves) that allow you to add/monitor the freon. There is one on the compressor side and one on the return side. I have always assumed that the compressor side was the high side and the return was the low side. If either of these were leaking and the system had dye in it, you would see the dye leaking out around the fitting. Does the compressor run? Did the dealer ever change the low pressure or high pressure switches? Either one or both will open the circuit to the compressor clutch and you will have no A/C. If the compressor runs, do you see bubbles in the site glass (behind the grill), or is it full? ... Ron
