Hi,

I'm away in Ottawa to visit a friend and while driving there from Montreal I decided to place the headlight switch to the far right position (I usually leave it to the far left position all the time). When I did that, all lights (dash and healights went off). Then, 30 sec later, they came on, so I left the light switch to the far right position.

I arrived at my friend place and turned off the engine. Later when I started the car, both engine and gear box lights were on. Drove the car slowly, I am not sure but I think the car was less powerfull. Checked engine and gear oil, all OK. Removed the (+) battery wire to reset the computer. I am going to put it back in a few minutes.

I read about the ignition switch and instrument cluster problem. Could the instrument cluster panel be repaired? Is it only the light switch?
