I just did that some weeks ago but it was the lower one. A customer brought the car in with rounded off Allen hole.
I was hoping to be able to use my air hammer and a chisel to give the bolt head a quick whack sideways so that it came loose but it was no luck and since the bolt head is completly countersank into the steel bushing that slides in the aluminum bracket, it is no way to grab it with a plier.
I was toying with the idea to weld a bolt to the bolt head but it was just not enough room to get the MIG head in there.
I ended up dropping the subframe and take the whole bracket out with alternator and drive shaft in one piece and then drill out the bolt on the bench.
Maybe you can remove the lower bolt and swing the alternator out enough to loosen the bolts holding the bracket to engine.
I guess it is the two lower ones that is covered up by the alternator body?
