Hazard lights flashed uncontrollably, now nothing works

I have a 2001 9-3 base coupe, and I'm in Rochester, NY. It's been cold recently (10s-20s in the day to low single digits at night), and I have to park outside.
Last night I went out to get gas, and after about 15 minutes of driving, my 4-ways started flashing. I parked the car, and they kept going, sometimes at the normal rate and sometimes more rapidly. Same when I took out the key. The button really had no effect, and once or twice the SID said "telephone."
So finally they stopped, and I got around a little more and they came back on. I parked the car and pulled fuse #2, which killed the blinkers. Anyway, fast forward to this morning and I go out to find that the car's dead. It beeps when I press the unlock button on the key, but doesn't unlock the door, and nothing inside works (radio, trunk unlock button, etc). The car also will not turn over.
Anyway, it seems that the battery got drained overnight despite me pulling the fuse. Does any of this sound familiar? I've read some things about the DICE unit throwing blinker problems, and I'm hoping it's not that, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
