So, I'm thinking about removing my stock cat and putting a straight pipe in. I'm looking at a Magnaflow at http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/performance/basket.php?makeid=40&modelid=494&year=1996&partid=355&brandid=3246 but I don't know if this will actually be a performance part or I'll just be wasting money on OEM. Would it be just as well to buy a straight piece of pipe from a hardware store and drill the hole for the O2 sensor rather than shell out $81? This is only a temp piece for a little DIY fun before I buy the downpipe :D
