Was it perhaps out in toe on the right rear? My new-to-me '01 9-3 was just diagnosed with the same issue, as in 'are you sure it hasn't been in an accident?'. A search on here turned up several posts about the same RR toe issue, some of which were from original owners w/no accident history. Shimming the hub was just about the only solution mentioned, other than replacing the rear suspension. I recently spoke with an ex-Saab service manager here and he suggested having a good frame shop look at it rather than going the shim route. I'll post the results after I talk with those folks.
regards, Mike
