It's not for the feint, but you can sand, polish and buff it back out...sometimes...if the damage isn't too bad, and if you don't burn through the color coat when you sand. (assuming the previous post about no clear coat is correct.) If there is clear on it, you can't sand all the way through the clear or you'll need to reshoot clear.

I'm not even going to try and tell you how to do it here. Look it up at the library or book store. it involves wet sanding with very fine grit paper and then using special polishing compounds.

A good paint job is major bucks. If you keep the same color, you can get a single stage (no clear) paint job for a few hundred, that will last for a while...and probably they'll get overspray on your headlights or tires because they are in a hurry. Good paint jobs are measured in thousands of dollars.

Or you can do what I'm doing, take a class at the local community college and do it yourself...You'll still spend thousands of dollars, but at least you'll be spending hundreds of hours of your own time as well..hey...wait a minute...shoot...
