The black wire at the data link connector is the ground for the tech 2 or code reader. Anyone with saab experience would have checked this if they were having trouble with their equipment. Is it a P0130 code? If so an o2 sensor will likely fix it, yet some cars (later I think) need a couple of wiring junctions rebuilt and soldered for this code.
