Thanks, A resistance check sounds like a good idea -- the values are probably on the board here somwhere.
I'm familiar with that internal valve spring feel you mention from my '94 2.3 NA and was surprised not to find it here on the '99 2.0 turbo model. I was wondering if the later or turbo IAC might have employed a direct servo motor without springs, which could expain why the valve flapper didn't move for me. Anyone know about this?
