I've searched the forums regarding Blue smoke on start up, and found a few opinions. It seems the Turbo is the common culprit, but someone had posted about drilling out the PCV box(??). Is there any more detailed info how how this is done?

I have an '01 9-3 base, 144,000 kms. It only blows blue occasionally on start-up, never while driving or idling. It pulls well and Turbo boost is good.

I'd like to nip this in the bud if possible, or maybe I just have to prepare to replace the turbo soon.

THanks in advance for help on a topic that has been much-discussed.
