I have the original PCV SETUP on my 00 9-3, and have been tempted to change over to the latest fix, now #6. I wanted to wait and see if this was the solution at last, but apparently, it is not. I have had to replace 2 check valves and all the vac hoses and grommet to stop the leaks. I dont know why those check valves are only good for 50k or so, but they dont last long. Blow though it on both ends, you should be able to blow freely in the direction of the arrow, if you cant it is plugged. Now blow in the direction against the arrow, if you can the diaphram is shot.
