Born from Jets? Not quite

As one of the advantages of living in a large city, I became quite ready to handle all sorts of imperfect road conditions. But not this one. This intersection in Queens where a number of warehouses are located had a launching pad like the ones skateboarders use to jump and land. Without knowing this I'd been passing at around 40 mph in order to catch yellow light. For an instant me and my car felt weightlessness... in the air...flying...just what a Saab is born to do, right? BAM!&! I landed hard and as much as I love my car I felt the pain. Now luckily there's no obvious damage and car runs fine except one thing. There is a shimmy on the steering wheel around 65 mph. You know I had just fixed a very similar (almost the same) problem by balancing the front two tires, which worked perfectly, no vibration. Now the vibration is back after the hard landing.
I'm worried because it may not be the simple unbalanced tires considering they were just balanced a couple of weeks ago. What could go bad when the car lands like this from a jump? Axel? Bent wheel? (no vib at lower speed so maybe not) Could something be bent? I'll inspect under the car when I get a chance, but where should I be looking at?
Is it right to be disappointed at a Saab's landing capability considering its aircraft herritage?
Sincerely,
borami
