My '98 900 S Turbo 5Spd seems just not as quick as it used to a few weeks ago, not looking for advice on increasing power just getting back what I had not too long ago. Something is wrong but where to look ? none of the performance mods I have made recently seem to have made much of a difference so I think something basic is wrong. Ideas???
I have...
NGK BPCR7ES11s
Mobile 1 0x40
premium fuel
Techron every 6000 miles
Less then 10k on new DIC
No CEL or stored codes
ported TBTC
3" flared intake air box
K&N Panel filter
Saab Sport Stainless exhaust
Viggen IC
I get 26 MPG
The boost gauge behaves at it should 85% of yellow in 1st and 2nd, just touching red in 3rd,4th,5th. but Spool up seems a bit slow.
I have new vacuum line hoses to the hooter valve
and 116k miles
I notice I have a cracked hose to the purge valve from the throttle body that I need to fix.. but could that be all the cause ?
