Hi,
I am having some fun setting up my MBC+A
I started out setting the boost pressure, and thought I had it, but before I got too far into setting up the anticipator I realized I seemed to be hitting fuel cuts at different boost levels on different days. Sometimes I can hold steady boost as high as 15.5PSI sometimes I hit cuts as low as 15PSI. I can't consistently reproduce this. I guess it has some dependence on driving conditions, outside temp, turbo heat etc. All I can say is that the cuts at lower PSIs seem to happen on a hot turbo.
So.... should I lower the boost setting to below 15PSI or is this something I should aim to tune out with the anticipator ?
I have:
3" airduct mod
ported TBTC
Viggen IC
Saabsport Exhaust
K&N panel filter
outside temps just now are around 30 to 40F. Also it gets pretty cold here so and this is my daily drive so I need to consider all year round use down to -10F or so
Thanks in (ahum) anticipation ?
