This same thing is happening to me. Today I am getting a new alternator but last week had it in the dealership 3 times and the alternator was fine then. They changed out the battery but still after sitting overnight would be dead again. Dealership said finally there was a short in the radio pulling on the battery - sending that in just in case - no charge if it checks out ok. The following is a very good response I got under my name of pjordan "2001 Saab - New battery car won't start":
Many things could be draining the battery. If the radio is suspect, I would temporarily remove it for a few days or if it doesn't share the fuse with anything just pull the fuse. (Make sure you have the radio code first)

Other things you could try are connecting an ammeter in line with the battery +ve (with the car ignition off) and pulling fuses in turn to see which (if any) circuits are drawing lots of current.

I would also check the battery is charging by putting a volt meter across the terminals with the engine running and measuring the charging voltage.

Finally one thing that is sometimes overlooked are those lights you dont notice ...like the trunk, glovebox and (if you have one) underhood lights. These can stay on unnoticed if the switches are faulty and drain a battery overnight.

I would also check that the battery terminals themselves are good and clean and that the cables are in good condition with good connections.

and if you do need a new radio, personally I would put my money in a quality aftermarket rather than in a Saab radio, though some people like to keep them original which I fully understand.

If I could of done these things before now I would have but now I just need my car back - when alternator went out it would not run at all. Good luck!!!
