but I've put about 60k on this car and tried about everything. I service it myself and read/gap the plugs. I use Techron ocasionally and I've tried both heat ranges of plugs. Both cars have always had beautiful plugs. I know the part about German is a low blow on this board but my point is that I would like to drive a different engine management system and see if it's as picky. My biggest complaint is even when I run good gas, and relearn the ECU, I still have erratic boost. Something just isn't right and my 9k did it too although not as bad. I'm now getting MAF codes and am on my 2nd one. Has a new DI. I retorqued the head(no leaks and looked good inside). Crank sensor done. I carry a code reader in my car and reset'em going down the road for Christ's sake. Sorry to vent but I'm a major gear head with very little time to wrench right now while starting two businesses and my Saab is getting on my nerves... My latest feeling is the BPV(not sure if that's what it's called) but the way the boost will start to build and then just fall like a rock, then come back, then stay low and feel flat... and this is with mild acceleration and steady gas pedal. Not floored. Anyway... Thanks, C.
