Idle control valve ?? What I do is peel back the hose going "into"the control valve or take the whole thing off and spray 2+2 carb cleaner into it.This loosens -up the aluminum gray funk that builds up over time from the little vane that moves in the control to regulate the idle speed. Then if you can,Take the little tube that come with the can of WD-40 and slip it between the intake hose of the ICV(connected)with the engine running and spay the WD-40 into it for about 10-12 seconds. This usally loosen it up.This has always been a temporary fix and you'll need either a used or new replacment.Used from (Goldwingsaab.com).They have always taken good care of their customer's.Its worth a try.(cheap)
