Strange Antenna Issue

I posted here a couple times before about how my radio shuts off when I put my car in Park and seems to shut on and off when selecting gears. No one ever responded, possibly because this sounded too strange to be true. Well now that it's warmed up outside and I have had the top down I see what the problem is. I start the car, turn on the radio and the antenna goes up. I shift the car into Drive and the antenna goes right back down, turning off the radio. I turn the radio back on and the antenna goes back up and stays up. There's a similar sequence when I put the car back into Park though I don't remember the exact details. Obviously some wires got crossed somewhere or something is hooked up incorrectly. Car is a 1996 900 SET and everything is original, including the stereo. I am not much of a DIY'er, but if someone can tell me where to look and what to look for I would try to fix this myself if it isn't too complicated. It seems like something as simple as deconnecting/reconnecting, but who knows. Any thoughts would be appreciated so I can avoid a trip to an indie and associated costs. Thanks.
