Did mine last week. Make sure you have all the needed tools before you start. A little intimidating at first, but just start unbolting everything you see and eventually the strut/rotor assembly comes out of the car. Having a corrosion-free car helps with easy bolt removal. I got the job done in about 8 hours, but this counted a few trips to the rental store for spring compressor and ball joint tools, Lowes for a large socket for the axel nut, and hacking out the suspension bushings for replacement with GS poly bushings (2-3 hours in itself, but is easy once you figure out the trick to removing them without a press - using keyhole and hacksaw to cut out the rubber and then the metal bushing from the inside. Forget about trying to bash or press the bushing out). I highly recommend the bushing replacement - my car is new again! One bushing didn't have any hydraulic fluid left in it, which was probably why my handling sucked. You should replace the tie rod ends too since you have to mostly remove them anyways. The Monroe shocks work great, and am pleased that the four of them cost only $250 with new strut mounts. Have the hand cleaner ready because brake dust will get everywhere on you.
