You could buy two matching hoods in the SAME color painted on different DAYS and find a color difference. It will be close. Buy them from different years... definitely see it from various sun angles. Two different colors will not even be close. You'd almost be better off going for a contrast so it looks intentional e.g. white or black hood and trunk. For a really good match, a great body man will paint the hood and mist onto the top of the fenders to make it blend.

If it was me and I was trying to save money, I'd get it and have it painted at a low budget paint place like Maaco. Their paint is OK but they don't sand much, so just learn how to prep and sand the whole thing to #400. Do small imperfections with red lead. That will be good for about 8 years.
