After finishing the hydraulic clutch conversion and flushing the tranny I've got a leak between the plate that holds the driveshaft seal and the case of the tranny. It seems the torx screws are tight though the torque specified seemed low in my opinion. I really don't want to take the drive shaft off again and drain the tranny fluid again (it's the expensive new stuff). Any suggestions??
Can I safely torque it down a little more than spec (16 ft/lb)?
Alternately, I'm wondering about loosening the plate up and pulling it back a few mm's with everything still in place and trying to work in some gasket sealer (there wasn't any on the original nor was it specified in the manual).
